Shop at Clove the store in Mumbai with SVP Jewellery.
May 09, 2018
Tucked away in the back streets of Colaba you'll find Clove housed in a beautiful art deco building, just behind the wonderful Taj Mahal Palace Hotel.
A mix of lifestyle, interiors, fashion, accessories and children's wear this perfectly formed store is a delight.
Set up by Samyukta Nair, Clove brings together her two loves; design and India.
Shop from fashion to sleepwear, cook books, to pottery, children's wear to quilts and everything else in between. You'll find cool labels such as Aish and The Sole Sister chappels. It's the kind of shop where you want everything even if you don't need it. Other lables include Dhruv Kapoor, Kardo, home linen by Anavila and Shift, objects from Claymen, sleepwear from Dandelion and Fiona Caulfields’ Love Travel Guides are available at the store.
They seem to have an ever changing stock so frequent visits are a must if not a little dangerous:)

Take me to Clove now!
The easiest way if you don’t know where you are going is to take an Uber (The Uber’s here in Mumbai are great and cheap too).If you feel nervous walking around on your own there are organised tours you can take too. I prefer finding things out for myself but if you want guidance try:
Mumbai Magic Tours
Grand Mumbai Tours
I can’t vouch for either of them so I am not sure how good they will be.
How to fly fry from UK to Mumbai
I always fly Jet Airways from London Heathrow Terminal 4 https://www.jetairways.com/ They are consistently the cheapest with return flights starting at around £450 including taxes. The visas are easier now for holiday makers. Just go online and order yourself an e-visa, they usually come through in 24 hours.

If there is somewhere where you'd like me to visit in the city please just leave a comment, we'd love to hear from you. Or if you have any suggestions or advice you need wen visiting India I will be happy to help.
